Spring is here – bring on the colour!

Here at DI we are in a buoyant mood, a spring in our step as we notice all the snowdrops, daffodils and buds appearing against a backdrop of amazing azure blue skies

Now is the time to clear out winter clobber and reboot with a spring clean and an injection of colour into the home to uplift the mood.  A few tips below on how to achieve that vibe:

Colour, colour and colour – introduce lighter paint colours, walls and cushion fabrics;  add in some light furniture pieces; fill centrepieces – kitchen tables and coffee tables with pots and jugs of brightly coloured and wonderful smelling hyacinths and tulips; fill entrance halls and porches with pots and vases of spring flowers – yellows, pinks and oranges.

With those suggestions in mind check out our lighter coloured Cheriton and Hanley ranges – whites, soft greys and greens – clean, calming and simple pieces to achieve space and clarity in the home.  Wood samples available. How to transform your room into a productive workspace

Its not as difficult as you think updating that space/area into a more fruitful workspace – just start by thinking about location, a happy sunny spot – a good view helps too with getting the creative juices flowing; a comfortable chair and a pretty uncluttered desk are a good start.

Accessorise with pen holders, mugs and storage trays for organised, clear and clean spaces for more productive flow.
